The Developmental Center of Thessaly participated in the kick off meeting (4-5-3/2019) of the European program entitled " Immigrant Friendly Cities " which was held in Aydin, Turkey. The partnership is composed of 8 partners; the coordinator of the project is Aydin Il Goc Idaresi Mudurlugu (TR), Aydin Valiligi (TR), Sosyal Etki ve Yenilikçi Eğitim Derneği (TR) from Turkey and the other partners; wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft, Pro IFALL, Fønix AS , CEIPES, and the Developmental Center of Thessaly, ΑΚΕΘ - DCT .

The project has been approved under Erasmus+ and in Key Action 2 - Strategic Partnerships. The project Immigrant Friendly Cities aims to create a web based platforms, APP and they will train their staff. So the refugees/immigrants will have public guidance services by using digital tools. A learning model will be developed with digital tools and fostering respect and understanding for diversity, intercultural competencies and values.
